Creative Community Singapore CCS is a key initiative by the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA). As a Strategic Partner of Emily Hill from March 2007, CCS provides seed funding and non-financial assistance for Emily Hill to kick-start a series of programmes, such as Art WORK, Art of Business and Art is Life (see ‘Programmes’), which aim to enhance the creative capabilities of people from all walks of life.

In Dec 2008, Emily Hill responded to an open Request for Proposals from MICA to develop a Creative Industries Freelancers Network (CIFN).
Emily Hill was subsequently awarded the CIFN project and the seed funding in March 2009. CIFN is now being developed as Six Degrees - a ground-up community of independent professionals and businesses from across the ecosystem of the arts and creative industries.
The aims of the Six Degrees network are to level the playing field for some, raise the bar for others, and enable sharing and collaboration. To be a member of Six Degrees is to be part of an open community that respects artistic work, and values independence and creativity. Currently in development stage, the interim information site is at sixdegrees.asia. |

The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) is a partner of the Professional Diploma in Creative Entrepreneurship (PDCE) course conducted by Emily Hill. From (month/year) and ongoing.
PDCE nurtures the capabilities that entrepreneurs need in order to excel in the dynamic and challenging Creative Industries sector, which comprises Arts and Heritage, Design and Media. Participants are equipped with the skills to successfully manage, grow and sustain their own creative enterprise through modules such as Leadership,
Intellectual Property, Marketing, Finance, and Project Management, all tailored for the exacting climate of the Creative Industries.

Wild Rocket was an Official Partner at Emily Hill’s Official Launch in November 2007. And adopted artist Sun Yu-li’s works during the Singapore Design Festival 2007. Wild Rocket continues today to collaborate with the people at Emily Hill on specific projects. |
Lai Chee Kien from NUS Architectural Faculty conducted the research on the history of Emily Hill, a challenge he revisits periodically. And for the conceptual project on TTRP’s Performance Labs displayed during Emily Hill’s Neighbors’ Day on Jan 20, 2007.
